Itinerary

Day 1 – Split
Here we go! Croatia costs are waiting for us… But let’s meet a couple of hours before, so we can get to know each other and set up the last details before the departure! A short briefing with the skipper and a dinner all together will be the best start for our journey. Dinner available on reservation.

Day 2 - Blue Lagoon
Shallow and transparent waters are the ideal scenario for diving enthusiasts. Staring at these blue waters you won’t believe your eyes: have you ever seen something like this?

Day 3 - Vis
This island presents a jagged coast with plenty of coves. Vis (or Lissa) was born as an island of fishermen and wine producers. The port of Komiza, located on the north coast, is definitely one of the most famous places to visit on the ilsand.

Day 4 - Palmizana
Rosemary dominates this area! Its aroma will chase you from the beginning to the end of your stay in Palmizana! Who said that smell is not part of the panorama? The sailing trip in Croatia goes on…

Day 5 - Hvar (Old Town)
Today we are going to visit the queen of the Dalmatian archipelago: Hvar. Famous for its history and strategical position, the island is packed with tourists all year due to its favorable climate conditions. The summer though, is the best period to take a tour!

Day 6 - Brac (Gloden Horn)
The beach of the Golden Horn is a must of our trip in Croatia! With the shape of a triangle, its tip changes direction depending on the sea currents… A unique show! Windsurfing, mountain climbing and long walks among the olive trees are some of the activities you can choose from in Brac. The choice is up to you!

Day 7 - Solta
The island of Solta is an oasis of relaxation. The island is pristine and pure like its waters. The ideal for achieving peace of mind before returning home.

Day 8 - Split
Our sailing trip in Croatia comes to an end… We will leave from Split, where it all started. We’re sure we’ll see you soon! Check-out is scheduled at 9.00 am. All participants will have to plan their return journey independently.

Life on Board
Once boat and destination have been chosen, here is how a typical OUTCAGER day may be. For some days the boat will be home to you. In the morning, we will start the day with a rich breakfast on board, with local food when possible. After that we will give up the moorings. We will tend to leave all together. The journey is the result of a long experience of navigation. The route will be provided to the participants previously. However, itineraries are not binding for security reasons, may vary depending on weather conditions and will be at the commander’s discretion to decide whether to maintain or change the route. Your safety is a must for us. Boats will travel 2-4 hours per day and will move together from one stage to the next, sailing in sight of each other. Crews may compete against each other and the fastest boat could win” a prize ” at the end of the day. Most of the time, we will sail from 2 to 4 hours a day, except in special cases. Once the new destination is reached, we will stop in the harbor to snorkel, swim, take pictures or simply relax on inflatable mattresses. Depending on weather and according to captain’s advice we will consider if sleeping out rather than going back to the harbor.

The boats
The sailboat is a cozy floating house that allows you to visit places otherwise inaccessible by land and allows you to experience the sea from a completely different perspective. It is not just a mean to get to places otherwise inaccessible, it is a life style.
All boats are equipped with double cabins with double beds or bunk beds. This means that if you are not travelling with someone you know you will share the cabin with a new friend. The cabins are generally homogeneous by gender (men with men and women with women). Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to book the entire cabin for yourself or the whole yacht with all your old friends. Every boat is equipped with 2, 3 or 4 bathrooms. The kitchen includes a hob, oven and a large fridge. All Outcage boats guarantee the highest standards of safety and comfort. Throughout the winter, we select our boats carefully from certified shipping companies. Each boat is always newly built and has all the available options for cruising. Our itineraries are created paying the utmost attention to the locations, to ensure the right mix of fun, relaxation and breathtaking views.
JUST SIT DOWN, RELAX AND HAVE FUN!
The Crews
Whether you are an expert or a novice, crews are prepared previously to departure, and informed about essential rules concerning safety in particular.
We place the utmost attention in creating heterogeneous crews by gender and age of participants. Once you get on board, the skipper will take the lead.
For those who show interest in learning about navigation, there will be the chance to learn some notions of sailing and some essential sailor’s knots!
Skippers
Our commanders, coordinated by a skipper who is familiar with all the destinations, are top level professional. Each of them has plenty of navigation experience and has attended a training course lasted all winter in order to get ready to welcome and guide you through this unique experience! The skipper is the most experienced and the highest authority on board. He is in charge of leading the boat and is responsible for everything that happens on board. They will be available for helping you out in every situation. Every day the skippers will coordinate the routes to be taken, always keeping in mind the needs of the members of the crews on board. Each choice will be made to ensure the highest degree of safety for all members of the crew.
