Outcage Sailing Break Sail Have Party and live in a yacht with your
friends and other Outcagers Seychelles catamaran flotilla
your trips outside of the box
Holidays in Seychelles by flotilla on catamaran or sailboat?! No, you aren’t dreaming, you have truly arrived in a paradise made of white beaches and fine sand, splendid coral reefs populated by colorful fish, transparent shrimps and giant turtles, crystalline lagoons with turquoise and emerald hues that act as a counterpoint to the cobalt blue of the Indian ocean, and all over the soft embrace of the sun to warm body and soul.
There are more than a hundred islands in the Seychelles archipelago, the most part still uninhabited today. Nature takes over here, and almost all the islands are nature reserves in whole or in part. When you look at them with your mouth open from the bow of the catamaran, you will easily understand why we have proposed holidays to the Seychelles as a destination for our public. Imagine waking up slowly to the rhythmic pitch of the boat, lazily putting on a bathing suit and then diving from the cockpit into the crystal clear waters of the sheltered and silent bay where you dined the night before just in the light of the stars. And the day after, do it again, but in a completely different and even more suggestive cove.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Mahè
Your holidays in the Seychelles begin. The meeting is scheduled in the port of Mahé EDEN ISLAND MARINA, where the delivery of the boats will be made around 16:00. We advise all our crews to arrive in the early afternoon, around 1:00 pm / 2:00 pm, to have time to organize the galley, have a small briefing with the skippers and, subsequently, settle in the cabins on board.
The overnight stay will be at anchor in Saint Anne Marine Park.

Day 2 – St. Anne Marine Park – Cocos Island - La Digue.
From the marine park of the island of Saint Anne, a splendid point for snorkeling, we will sail to Cocos Island formed by wide rocks characterized by regular stripes due to the erosion of the sea. Cocos Island gives a glance with extreme harmony of shapes and colors. Under the sea the view is equally spectacular with millions of fish. Enjoy unforgettable snorkeling.
Anchor in front of the picturesque port of La Digue.

Day 3 – La Digue
Rent bikes in La Digue and visit this peaceful and wonderful island. With its paths that climb under giant palm trees, houses with roofs made of palm leaves, small factories of coconut oil, white sand beaches and large smooth rocks. La Digue is perhaps one of the most beautiful islands in the Seychelles. Without cars, only bicycles or ox-drawn carts. It is also possible to visit it on horseback.
Overnight is scheduled in the port of La Digue Harbor.

Day 4 – La Digue – Cousin – Baie St. Anne (Praslin)
Visit to the island of Cousin. Since 1968, the island has been a nature reserve and bird sanctuary, with rare species and even giant turtles. Lunch on board. Afternoon in Praslin. Visit to the Vallée de Mai, a valley under UNESCO protection. The walk in the valley is fascinating. The journey takes place in the semi-darkness created by the giant palm leaves of the “Cocos de mer”. The trees are high around 40 meters and move gently in the breeze making a strange rustling rubbing against each other.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the bay at Baie St. Anne.

Day 5 – Baie St. Anne - Grande Soeur - Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour (Praslin) Grande Soeur.
Barbecue on the beach, in one of the most beautiful of the Seychelles islands. With a 40-minute walk you can discover the island or have fun in the water or relax on the beach.
Overnight is scheduled in Curieuse or Anse Petite Cour.

Day 6 – Curieuse – Saint Pierre – Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin) Curieuse.
Almost at the end of the holiday, the surprises do not end: this island is part of the Marine National Park, more than a hundred sea turtles live here.
After lunch, Saint-Pierre island, a mass of rounded rocks crowned by a tuft of very tall palm trees swaying in the wind: this is the typical scenario of the Seychelles, photographed countless times and published in millions of tourism magazines!
Excellent snorkeling spot with exceptional underwater panorama.
Anchorage for the night in Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio, Praslin.

Day 7 – Anse Volbert or Anse Lazio (Praslin) – Mahé.
Last stop scheduled for your holidays in the Seychelles. Before come back to the port of Mahé, we will visit the beaches of Praslin.
Place of relaxation par excellence, its pristine and pure waters are ideal for complete mental peace before returning home.
In the evening, or even in the night, we will return to Mahé, where, the following morning, check-out is expected by 9:00 am.

Day 8 - Mahè
At 9:00 am check-out is foreseen and the crews will disembark.
All participants will have to organize the return journey themselves.

The journey is the result of a long experience of navigation. The route will be provided to the participants previously. However, itineraries are not binding for security reasons, may vary depending on weather conditions and will be at the commander’s discretion to decide whether to maintain or change the route. Crews may compete against each other and the fastest boat could win” a prize ” at the end of the day. Most of the time, we will sail from 2 to 4 hours a day, except in special cases. Once the new destination is reached, we will stop in the harbor to snorkel, swim, take pictures or simply relax on inflatable mattresses. Depending on weather and according to captain’s advice we will consider if sleeping out rather than going back to the harbor.

The boats
The sailboat is a cozy floating house that allows you to visit places otherwise inaccessible by land and allows you to experience the sea from a completely different perspective. It is not just a mean to get to places otherwise inaccessible, it is a life style.
All boats are equipped with double cabins with double beds or bunk beds. This means that if you are not travelling with someone you know you will share the cabin with a new friend. The cabins are generally homogeneous by gender (men with men and women with women). Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to book the entire cabin for yourself or the whole yacht with all your old friends. Every boat is equipped with 2, 3 or 4 bathrooms. The kitchen includes a hob, oven and a large fridge. All Outcage boats guarantee the highest standards of safety and comfort. Throughout the winter, we select our boats carefully from certified shipping companies. Each boat is always newly built and has all the available options for cruising. Our itineraries are created paying the utmost attention to the locations, to ensure the right mix of fun, relaxation and breathtaking views.
JUST SIT DOWN, RELAX AND HAVE FUN!
The Crews
Whether you are an expert or a novice, crews are prepared previously to departure, and informed about essential rules concerning safety in particular.
We place the utmost attention in creating heterogeneous crews by gender and age of participants. Once you get on board, the skipper will take the lead.
For those who show interest in learning about navigation, there will be the chance to learn some notions of sailing and some essential sailor’s knots!
Skippers
Our commanders, coordinated by a skipper who is familiar with all the destinations, are top level professional. Each of them has plenty of navigation experience and has attended a training course lasted all winter in order to get ready to welcome and guide you through this unique experience! The skipper is the most experienced and the highest authority on board. He is in charge of leading the boat and is responsible for everything that happens on board. They will be available for helping you out in every situation. Every day the skippers will coordinate the routes to be taken, always keeping in mind the needs of the members of the crews on board. Each choice will be made to ensure the highest degree of safety for all members of the crew.
