Itinerary

Day 1 - Lefkada
Your sailing holidays in Ionian Greece begin. The meeting is scheduled in the port of Lefkas Marina S.A. (Greece), where the delivery of the boats will be done around 16:00. We recommend to all our arrival equipment in the early afternoon, around 14:00, to have time to organize the galley, have a small briefing with the skippers and, integrated, settle in the cabins on board. A first fact-finding dinner will be proposed, so from a distance all the groups gathered in view of the week of sailing vacation to spend together. Dinner will be available by reservation.
The overnight stay will be in Porto.

Day 2 - Cefalonia
At the first light of dawn we will sail to Kefalonia (distance 35 miles, estimated time 5 hours). Myrtos Beach, is one of the most famous and photographed beaches in all of Greece and has appeared in more magazines and covers than more than one international supermodel. It is an arch of white pebbles over a kilometer long, squeezed between impressive limestone cliffs and bathed by a beautiful turquoise sea. It is here that one of the most suggestive aperitifs at sunset will take place, when the sky turns pink and orange, Myrthos becomes a magical place.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the harbor.

Day 3 - Zante – Wreck Beach
Navagio beach is the main tourist attraction of Zakynthos and, no matter how many times you have seen its photos, nothing will prepare you for its grandeur. Enclosed between two huge promontories along the western coast of Zakynthos covered with vegetation and bathed by an extraordinary blue sea, the beach enchants visitors thanks to its clear turquoise and crystal clear waters that seem to come out of a postcard.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the harbor.

Day 4 – Zante or Zacinto (Harbor)
Upon reaching the halfway point, we will decide whether to sail and enjoy the sea from the beautiful coves of the island or whether to go ashore to visit the beautiful town of Zakynthos. The picturesque harbor and characteristic houses dominate the east coast and the bay. Let yourself be captivated by the town’s museums, historic buildings and trendy cafés.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the port

Day 5 - Ithaca
At the first light of dawn we will sail to Ithaca! “Come here Ulysses’’ whispered the sirens, “I’m too beautiful for you to resist me. I want to have fun with you, to let you gradually reveal my curves and my most secret places”’. After taking a bath in the beautiful Gidaki you will be enchanted just like Ulysses with the sirens.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the port.

Day 6 - Meganissi
Direction Meganissi, it is a beautiful and picturesque island of the Lefkada archipelago. Meganissi is traditionally an island of sailors and fishermen, with a landscape rich in vegetation, steep mountains, underground caves and crystal clear sea.
It is characterized by the famous windmills on its slopes and the historic monasteries scattered throughout the island, without doubt the most famous is that of San Giovanni Battista which enjoys the most suggestive view of the whole island.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the harbor.

Day 7 - Lefkada
The last scheduled stop, before returning to the port of Lefkada, will be a surprise: based on the weather conditions and the time available to us, we will decide in which cove or beach to stop. In the evening, or even in the night, we will return to Lefkada, covering the last few miles of our vacation.
The overnight stay is scheduled in the port.
Day 8 - Lefkada
Guys it’s over. At 9:00 am check-out is foreseen and the crews will disembark.
All participants will have to organize the return journey themselves. Make an applause and pack your bags, you go home … In the program we cannot put the emotions you have felt, the new friendships you have made or the new loves that have been created.
We can’t do it but you can do it, sharing all your words and emotions through our Community Outcage.

In the morning, we will start the day with a rich breakfast on board, with local food when possible. After that we will give up the moorings. We will tend to leave all together. The journey is the result of a long experience of navigation. The route will be provided to the participants previously. However, itineraries are not binding for security reasons, may vary depending on weather conditions and will be at the commander’s discretion to decide whether to maintain or change the route. Your safety is a must for us. Boats will travel 2-4 hours per day and will move together from one stage to the next, sailing in sight of each other. Crews may compete against each other and the fastest boat could win” a prize ” at the end of the day. Most of the time, we will sail from 2 to 4 hours a day, except in special cases. Once the new destination is reached, we will stop in the harbor to snorkel, swim, take pictures or simply relax on inflatable mattresses. Depending on weather and according to captain’s advice we will consider if sleeping out rather than going back to the harbor.

The boats
The sailboat is a cozy floating house that allows you to visit places otherwise inaccessible by land and allows you to experience the sea from a completely different perspective. It is not just a mean to get to places otherwise inaccessible, it is a life style.
All boats are equipped with double cabins with double beds or bunk beds. This means that if you are not travelling with someone you know you will share the cabin with a new friend. The cabins are generally homogeneous by gender (men with men and women with women). Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to book the entire cabin for yourself or the whole yacht with all your old friends. Every boat is equipped with 2, 3 or 4 bathrooms. The kitchen includes a hob, oven and a large fridge. All Outcage boats guarantee the highest standards of safety and comfort. Throughout the winter, we select our boats carefully from certified shipping companies. Each boat is always newly built and has all the available options for cruising. Our itineraries are created paying the utmost attention to the locations, to ensure the right mix of fun, relaxation and breathtaking views.
JUST SIT DOWN, RELAX AND HAVE FUN!
The Crews
Whether you are an expert or a novice, crews are prepared previously to departure, and informed about essential rules concerning safety in particular.
We place the utmost attention in creating heterogeneous crews by gender and age of participants. Once you get on board, the skipper will take the lead.
For those who show interest in learning about navigation, there will be the chance to learn some notions of sailing and some essential sailor’s knots!
Skippers
Our commanders, coordinated by a skipper who is familiar with all the destinations, are top level professional. Each of them has plenty of navigation experience and has attended a training course lasted all winter in order to get ready to welcome and guide you through this unique experience! The skipper is the most experienced and the highest authority on board. He is in charge of leading the boat and is responsible for everything that happens on board. They will be available for helping you out in every situation. Every day the skippers will coordinate the routes to be taken, always keeping in mind the needs of the members of the crews on board. Each choice will be made to ensure the highest degree of safety for all members of the crew.
